Denis and his team completed a substantial and complex renovation of our 1930’s Tudor house to include an attic conversion, along with a major part single, 2 story extension to achieve an ‘A’ rated home.
We were introduced to Denis in November 2021 and upon completion of a negotiated tender, works commenced in May 2022. While the build program was an 8 month build the ask / target was to have us back in for Christmas 2022 which Denis delivered.

Denis and the team from McGlynn Construction did an amazing job refurbishing and extending our period house. The project started just a few weeks before the start of Covid so they were working in the most difficult of times with stops and starts beyond any of our control. Renovating a listed property is never without its challenges but no change (and there were many!) was ever a problem. Denis is very attentive on site and very quick to find a solution when problems arise.
The job was completed to a very high standard, and within budget- two very important and welcome qualities but aside from that we found working with Denis and his team to be a real pleasure. We had a major renovation done on our house in Blackrock through 2020. As you can imagine we experienced a lot of disruption due to the Covid 19 situation. Even during the height of the lock down Denis stayed connected to us and we kept the project moving forward with good planning and engagement. The quality of the work and attention to detail was outstanding with Denis himself standing over every piece of work. This was not an easy project rewiring, replumbing, upgrading insulation in a 200 year old house while maintaining character and the history of the property. Working with Denis was always easy as he is open and approachable and listens to the client throughout the entire process. He prides himself in delivering a top class finished home that meets both the needs and the dreams of the client.

We had a great experience with Denis and his team. Through the Summer of 2016, we completely renovated our house, and Denis delivered to our budget and before the estimated time to completion. We found that there was always solutions presented alongside any issues that arose, and were delighted with the quality of the build and the finish. Two years on and our home is still as good as new. Denis was super-organised and no question or suggestion was too big or too small before, during or after the build. We would have no problem recommending him for any home renovations.
We worked with Denis and his team on the refurbishment and renovation of our Edwardian terrace house in Dublin from February to September 2017. Teamed with our architect, Denis reconfigured the downstairs layout of our home and delivered a whole new living space.
